Invitation: Grow Mentor Training and Matchmaking Sessions

As part of Culture Central’s ongoing mission to ensure that we have a dynamic, resilient, equitable and inclusive sector, we are recruiting for more mentors and mentees to join our Grow programme.

Grow is our regional mentoring scheme that works across art forms, skills and experience levels. We have already made a number of successful matches, and now we are looking for a new cohort of individuals who are keen to help to shape the future of the sector by building lasting connections either as a mentor or a mentee.

We’re also hosting a series of events, which are open for all new recruits, as well as those who are already on the programme. The events are listed below.

For Mentors:

Mentor Briefing Session - Tuesday 25th June, 17:00 - 18:00 (online)

This session is for anyone who is interested in finding out more about becoming a mentor through this programme.

Mentor Training and Matchmaking Session - Wednesday 10th July, 16:30 - 18:30 (in-person, Birmingham TBC)

The first hour of this session will be a free and in-depth training session for all mentors. This will be followed by a networking session between mentors and mentees in order to establish some potential future matches.

For Mentees:

Matchmaking Session - Wednesday 10th July, 17:30 - 18:30 [in-person, Birmingham]

Anyone interested in signing up to be mentored is invited to come along to meet potential mentors at this matchmaking session.
