Natya Project offers work shadowing opportunity

By Amy Dalton Hardy Tuesday 3 July 2018

Upcoming Natya Project is offering 3 dancers a work shadowing opportunity over the summer!

During the Summer, Seeta Patel, award-winning dancer and choreographer is offering a fantastic opportunity for three dancers (aged 16+) to shadow her work for a week.

The three people selected will get to work with Seeta and five bharatanatyam dancers to create a new ensemble dance work.

The shadowing work placement will take place from 30th July – 4th August, between 10am and 6pm, at Heartworks Studio, 54 Cliveland Street, Birmingham, B19 3SN.

Dancers will ideally be available for the whole week, though there is some room for flexibility here.

Dancers will be given £10 for each day they attend to cover travel expenses.

They will be responsible for their own accommodation and maintenance.

If you're interested in this opportunity, please email magdalen.gorringe@gmail.com with a CV and a short cover letter telling us why your interested in this opportunity, with the subject line, The Natya Project.

The Natya Project is a Dance Hub Birmingham supported project. Follow @TheNatyaProject on Twitter to find out more.
