Have a great idea for an artistic project/performance or do you want to make a piece of work but have no idea how you're going to fund it? Not sure how to translate your ideas into a written application?
If you are new to working in arts and culture, an emerging or young artist, newly graduated and are struggling to find and apply for funding, this workshop is for you!
The evening will be comprised of talks from fundraising experts from major arts organisations around Birmingham who will be sharing their experiences in fundraising, giving practical advice on how to write an application and answering your questions. We will also be joined by a representative from Arts Council England who will be able to share even more information about the type of public funds available for the Arts.
This is aimed at people who are new to working in Arts and Culture and have little or no experience at all so please feel free to come along and learn from the wealth of knowledge that our speakers have to share - there is no such thing as a stupid question! Come learn more and make your ideas into a reality.
A representative from Dance Hub Birmingham will be on hand to answer any questions or queries on their upcoming Artistic Commissions and Developing Practice Bursaries deadline(s).
Entry costs £5, to be purchased in advance on Eventbrite
